My kitty boys perform that duty here. You never know what some unscrupulous checkout clerk might toss in the bags with groceries, eh? Snakes? Rats? Kitty treats? Better safe than sorry, so I humor them till they complete their inspection. Of course, they have to sniff me over, too, to verify I was gone for legitimate reasons!

I’m sorry Xena, but I have no idea what that item is. . .it looks like a pretty purple tote bag with unidentified items within. A clue would not be unwelcome. . .
