Best time of year – when it finally cools down enough that my incredibly furry dog, Emma (aka The Notorious D.I.G.), will nap back to back with me. She is an incredibly blanket…when it’s 30 degrees or colder. Anything else is, apparently, too darn hot.

Oh my! Stella provides blanket services all year long. She typically sleeps stretched out next to me. Very hot in the summer and sometimes a bit chilly in the winter because she frequently–inadvertently, I’m sure–pulls the blanket off of me while positioning herself.
