We are so sorry to read this ! We can imagine that, as many as were sad to see him go (some of us who never met him except through your posts) there were as many welcoming him there, ready to set off on his next adventure.

Hugs and condolences on your loss. You are right about the hole in the heart when they pass. I personally think it never completely goes away, though one begins, in time, to remember comforting things about how they were part of our family for all their time.

My thoughts are with you. I took in a homeless cat that has been around for years, he had gone blind, he had a really bad seizure last Friday and I took him to the vets to be put to sleep, at least he’s not suffering anymore.

Oh, dear…🥹😭 I am so sorry. It is hard to lose a baby. I have lost many. They are each unique and they merge with their family.
Phelps was adorable and we will ALL miss him. Godspeed to the Rainbow Bridge.
