Some new things, like new toys or cat trees, are obviously good. Some new things, like first trips to the vet or new, unfair rules regarding visits to the kitchen counter tops, are obviously bad.
Sometimes, though, you have to think long and hard about new things, like puppy brothers, before making up your mind.
