Is this something you are taught Finn or is it instinctive as Septimus and Tiggy do the same on my clothes – although they are less refined than you and all add a fine sheen to dirty ones!

Instinctive. Furring up our Humans’ clothes show that they belong to US, even when they venture outside. Purrs, Finnegan
