Cats do not like sharing. If you give us a single pile of treats, we will stare at it, at you and at each other until one Cat relinquishes control or you apportion the treats correctly, as you should have done in the beginning.

Sharing is possible among cats, but not common. My two are not exactly envious when it comes to food, but now and then one cat goes after the treat thrown for the other.
So ONE pile was defo cruel!

We do that, too, sometimes if the Humans do not distribute our treats in the correct order and explicitly state which pile is for which Cat. Purrs, Quicksilver and Darth Vader

Usually one cat will distract the other and sneak a paw in to pull some treats out. Or maybe that’s just Morgan. She’s not big on manners.

That’s very rude. The proper way to divvy up the treats, if the lazy Humans have failed to do so, is an all out wrestling match, claws optional, depending on how desirable the treats are. Purrs, DV and Quicksilver

I have seven too! They are pretty good for the most part and will wait until the other one has finished usually. I do have a couple that will share a plate or bowl together only because they each don’t want to miss out.

I had a cat rescue before we moved to SC and these were either unadoptable due to illness or just so darn cute they all became part of our family and moved with us.
