This sheet is still whitish, but I am definitely darkening it with my midnight fur.
Just a few more weeks and it will be perfect.
What’s that? My Humans will toss it in the wash before I achieve my aesthetic vision of a sheet that glistens like the Hope Diamond?
Pffft… If they haven’t done it yet, what makes you think they’ll do it soon?

We have that problem in our house too especially when company comes. They defur all the furniture (if it wasn’t supposed to have fur why do they call it furniture?). After the peeps leave we have a big job refurring it. –Mollie the alpha cat

So true, Molly, so true! Guests are the worst! As if the vacuum monster weren’t enough, the Humans start imposing silly rules like No Cats on the Dining Room Table. Fortunately, our Humans are not terrifically social, so we only have to deal with the dreaded guest situation once in a great while. Purrs, DV

The “darkening” seems to happen immediately after I vacuum our very light colored carpet.

Why, oh why, do you Humans feed the vacuum monster our beautiful, glossy fur? We Cats do not understand–we work extremely hard to make our house a home by coating everything in a generous layer of, well, us. Stop fighting it! Embrace the fur! Purrs, Darth Vader

My humom isn’t a very good housekeeper either but my short pointy hairs make her skin itchy so it forces her to wash the sheets often. I hope you can achieve your vision too!

I decorate her clothes heehee…she’s super lazy at doing laundry since she’ll just pick something else to wear until she has nothing clean left to wear! BOL!
