No one is going to steal the outside areas of the fort now that it has gotten so chilly.
The cozy inside is another matter…
We are vigilantly guarding the warm bed and keeping it warm in so doing.

So funny! One of my cats always gets in bed before I do at night. She always ends up right where I sit before I get in the bed. I have to wake her up and move her. I would like to think she is just warming up my spot, but she gets upset when I wake her! LoL. Got to live these felines.

My kitty Isis does the same. And the term “guard cat” is pretty appropriate for her in that she reacts to some sounds outside our apartment door much the same as a dog would. 💕🐈
